In 1939 a Soviet electrician named Semyon Kirlian was working at a hospital in the city of Krasnodar when he noticed a high-frequency physiotherapy machine in operation. A spark jumped between an electrode and the patient's skin, and Kirlian, a part-time inventor, wondered how the spark might appear if photographed. The development of aura photography did not take place until the 1980's when the aura capturing system was developed which utilized a Polaroid camera. The latest generation of aura capturing system captures our aura and chakras and integrates it with a space-age digital camera with a powerful computer and high-tech biosensors.
